Only green plants have chlorophylls in their leaves so, only green plants are able to prepare their own food with the help of Sunlight Trapped In The chlorophylls.
i) The first part carries water and Minerals to the leaf from the stem.
ii) The other part carries prepared food to the stem from the leaf.
Stomata are the tiny pores on a leaf surface. Plants intake carbon dioxide and give out oxygen water vapour during photosynthesis through these stomata. It also helps the plan to breathe.
The process by which green plants prepare their food with the help of water, carbon dioxide, chlorophyll and sunlight is called photosynthesis.
Human beings and animals depend on plants for Oxygen and food.
Plants depend on animals for Carbon dioxide and dispersal of their seeds at different places.
If plants reduce greatly in number there will not be enough production of Oxygen and food for animals. Similarly if the number of animals goes down considerably, plants will not get enough carbon dioxide for the process of photosynthesis. So a balance between these two types of living things is very essential for the survival of both.
