The process by which green plants prepare their food with the help of water, carbon dioxide, chlorophyll and sunlight is called photosynthesis.
How are plants and animals dependent on each another?
Plants and animals are depend on each other in following ways-
Human beings and animals depend on plants for Oxygen and food.
Plants depend on animals for Carbon dioxide and dispersal of their seeds at different places.
Why is it necessary to have balance in nature?
If plants reduce greatly in number there will not be enough production of Oxygen and food for animals. Similarly if the number of animals goes down considerably, plants will not get enough carbon dioxide for the process of photosynthesis. So a balance between these two types of living things is very essential for the survival of both.
