The Independence Day celebration at our school was a grand affair filled with joy and enthusiasm. The day commenced with the school adorned in vibrant decorations, setting the perfect ambiance for the festivities. Students dressed in their finest attire, ready to participate in the event. Dr. A. Chatterjee, presided over the ceremony, which began with the soul-stirring rendition of patriotic songs. The highlight of the day was the hoisting of the national flag, followed by heartfelt salutations and the singing of our national anthem. Throughout the event, students showcased their patriotism through songs, poems, and speeches, while the esteemed guests imparted valuable wisdom. The celebration concluded on a high note with a closing song.
The Independence day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Our School. The function on this occasion began in the morning of the 15th August last at our school premises which were beautifully decorated with various flowers and colorful festoons. Students came to school early in the morning with beautiful dresses. A well decorated Platform was erected for the occasion. Dr. A. Chatterjee, an eminent educationist, Presided over the function, which began with the singing of a patriotic song in chorus-then the president hoisted the national flag. We saluted the flag and sang our national anthem. Then the students sang various Patriotic songs and recited poems befitting the occasion. A few of our teachers spoke on the occasion about the significance of the day. At last the President made a stirring speech. He advised us to love our motherland and fight against evil forces. Our Principal delivered a wonderful speech at the end of the Program. The function Came to an end with a Closing song.
