Adjectives with Definitions and Examples


Descriptive adjectives (Adjective of Quality or Attributive adjectives)

: Descriptive adjectives are used to describe the qualities or characteristics of a noun.
Examples:
Big: She lives in a big house.
Blue: I love wearing blue clothes.

Quantitative Adjectives:

Quantitative adjectives are used to describe the quantity or amount of a noun.
Examples:
Many: There are many books on the shelf.
Few: Only a few people attended the meeting.

Demonstrative Adjectives:

How to use adjective in a sentence?
To use an adjective in a sentence, you should follow these steps:
1. Identify the noun or pronoun you want to modify. An adjective always modifies a noun or pronoun.
Example: She has a (noun) beautiful (adjective) dress.
2. Choose an appropriate adjective that describes the noun or pronoun you want to modify.
Example: The (adjective) blue (adjective) sky is beautiful.
Place the adjective before the noun or pronoun it modifies.
Example: He is a (adjective) talented (adjective) musician.
Keep in mind that some adjectives can be used after the noun they modify, such as with "to be" verbs. For example, "The sky is blue."
